ACT 2

Act 2 of Material Matters was held from 04-06 July 2018 at The Well Studios, Roscoe St, Liverpool, UK.

The alumni/alumnae artists featured in the exhibition were as follows:

For Material Matters Act 2 Josie Jenkins made a painting over three days. Visitors were invited to visit Josie at The Well Studios to observe and discuss the painting making process while she worked, beginning with assembling and stretching a large canvas.

Josie categorises her paintings as either Found Arrangements or Self Assembled Arrangements. For this exhibition she created a Self Assembled Arrangement, where images are taken from different sources and assembled together in a representational setting.
