TRYST

Inspired by the tale of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and grounded in the Wirral—believed to be the site of the Battle of Brunanburh, a defining moment in British history—Tryst weaves together fifty crimson, mycelium-like Saxon swords. These suspended forms symbolise the forgotten stories embedded in the land, where time blurs the line between myth and memory, history and legend.
