In a Flat Field is a surreal, meditative short film imagined as a view from Lord Bertilak’s castle—set within the mythic world of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. The camera lingers over a vast, still landscape, where time unravels and a fractured monolith looms, unmoved and unknowable.

As strange and spectral figures pass across the terrain, the film becomes a hypnotic reflection on the stories inscribed in the land—tales of loss, transformation, and the quiet persistence of mystery. Told through haunting imagery and dreamlike, wordless sequences, In a Flat Field invites the viewer into a liminal space where myth and memory converge.
